I was already old...
When the mighty reptiles dominated the earth
Born before the gods...
I, eternity itself
I walked the paths of creation one by one, 'till the last dawn of life
I became possessor of primordial secrets, and every forbidden wisdom
I spoke upon the imposing mountains, with the spirits of the ancestors
I was carried by the winds of space, to where black plants whirl eternally
Turbid visions overshadowed my sleep, and deformed my dreams
I found out what lurks beyond, the frontiers of reality known to man
Mother night, come and take me...
To worlds forsaken by life
Mother night, embrace me...
In lethargy I wish to die
I ran under the moonlight, in the sullen forests of erebus
I penetrated the infinite centuries, with the wings of dark souls
I crawled with the shadows, and haunted the frozen tombs
I fell into the sombre depths, of the abysmal dimensions
I galloped on the chariots
Of the twilight's hordes
I flied with the herds of fear
Above the ancient lands
And from the chasms of endless chaos,
I brought the message of insanity
But perpetual sanity,
still hides its face from me...
So, I will rest, in my obscure crypt...
Forever... silent and forgotten...
